Adventure Walks

An adventure, not just a walk!

Experience worry-free dog adventures with our dedicated service. We pick up your furry friend from home, take them to a fantastic walking spot, and return them safely afterward. Our mission is to keep your dog engaged, stimulated, and having a blast every step of the way.

Duration: 1 hour (does not include travel time)

Please enquire if you would like a longer service as we also offer Half Day Adventures. Pick up from 9:30am and drop off from 2:00pm.

Note: we only service Porirua for walks.

Monday - Friday:

Morning: 9:30am-11:00am
Lunchtime: 12:00am-1:30pm
Afternoon: 2:00pm-3:30pm

Cost:

Adventure Walk: $40
2 dogs from the same household: $35 per dog
Half Day Adventures: $60

We carry:

Leash(s)
Poop bags
Whistle
Water & Bowls
Treats
Toys (balls, frisbees etc)
Towels (in the dog van)
First Aid Kit
Dog coats (in the dog van). We cannot guarantee ours will be the correct size/fit for your dog so we recommend providing your dog's own coat if/when required.
A positive and fun attitude so your dog enjoys every moment!

Your dog:

Must be registered with the Council.
Must be wearing a suitable collar with Council registration tag attached.
Should not display any aggression towards other dogs or people.

Should be comfortable around other dogs and have basic manners and obedience.
Should be comfortable getting in/out of the Dog Van. Unfortunately, if I am unable to get your dog into the van, they will not be suitable for adventure walks.
Must be over 10 months of age.

Please note:

Walks are scheduled in intervals due to pick up / drop off, busy periods on the road and journey times to / from adventure locations.
Walks consist of a small pack only to ensure safety of all dogs and dog walker. This also allows more one on one time with each dog and better relationships are formed.
All dogs will remain on leash until we feel the trust and relationship is strong enough to have reliable recall.
Dogs will only be let off leash in designated off leash areas.
We will do our best to accommodate the time and day you request however, dogs will be put into a pack that we feel suits them best.

Boutique Homestay

Your dogs home away from home

If you don't want to leave your dog at a kennels while you are away, we can offer our luxury boutique sleepover, with our home-away-from-home experience for your furry friend. Your dog will enjoy all comforts of our family home, from sunbathing on the deck, curling up on sofa, relaxing by the fire and experience our daily adventure walks. We ensure a customised and loving experience, giving your dog the freedom to explore our large outdoor area while enjoying their own holiday with us.

Drop off & Pick up hours are between the following times, if you cannot meet these times, your dog will be required to stay an extra night:

Morning: 7:00am & 9:00am

Afternoon: 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

Cost:

Single Dog per night: $80
2 dogs from the same household per night: $75
Public Holidays / Holiday Periods: extra $10 per night
Transport service available for Porirua only: $5 each way

All prices are inclusive of GST.

We provide:

Beds, sofas, chairs, crates
Toys
Food (Mighty Mix Biscuits / Mighty Mix Frozen Concentrate) If your dog is on a special diet or will not eat the food available, please provide your own)
Enrichment activities for mental stimulation
Daily adventure walks to local beaches and trail adventures
Large outdoor area to play, sniff and sunbathe
Safe and secure environment

Your dog:

Must be registered with the Council.
Must be wearing a suitable collar with Council registration tag attached.
Must have regular flea and worm treatment.
Must be up to date with all vaccinations (proof is required).
Should not display any aggression towards other dogs or people.
Should be comfortable around other dogs and have basic manners and obedience.
Must be over 10 months of age.
Must be house trained.
